Hotel Skalny

Hotel Skalny is a modern place to stay on the south eastern fringe of Zakopane. They have forty-one rooms in singles, doubles, triples and studios, and the majority have balconies that come replete with a view over the Tatra mountains. A squash court and a rather fine swimming pool make this a good choice for the energetic amongst us. But if kicking back and taking it easy is more your thing, there's a jacuzzi, a massaging room and both Finnish and Turkish saunas.

Very good Hotel, located abot 20 minutes walk from the Zakopane's centre. great place for children indeed- with a special room for the little ones to play in. I loved very warm atmosphere of this place.

Quite retro but we liked it a lot - had awesome weather too!

Beautiful view of Nosal slope from room.Very relaxing atmosphere. Very helpful receptionist.A little pricey but guareented quality compared to other 3 star hotels

This was a decent hotel. Nothing fancy but we just needed a comfortable and convenient place to sleep in between day trips. Nice staff too.

Nice to get a game of squash in as well as the skiing. Just need to exercise more than once a year now and I'll be a genuine athlete! Or not...!

We thoroughly enjoyed our skiing holiday in Zakopane. The Skalny proved a trusty base. Hope to get some more skiing in next year.
