You might have noticed that this hotel is not the only thing in Zakopane which carries the name "Sabala." The name comes from the now-semi-mythical folk singer who conquered the hearts of Poles over 100 years ago, when the town was first "discovered." This hotel certainly lives up to its namesake - with a style that will do some enchanting of its own. The location simply cannot be better; you'll find yourself smack dab in the middle of Krupowki - the main artery of this great town. Now back in the hands of its original owners, Hotel Sabala stays true to the unique style of the Zakopane region. Hey, if the top artists and free thinkers of the late 1800s dug it here, who are you to resist, huh?

Hotel Sabala

Wonderful Hotel and the amount of restaurants around just blew me away. Saying that the food in Sabala Restaurant was superb and we enjoyed live music every night!

This is my favourite place in Zakopane! The staff is always wonderful and speaks great English. The hotel feels very homely and cosy. Breakfasts are fabulous with broad selection of cold meats and Polish specials.

This place was very good value for money. Loved the restaurant and the fact that it was so close to everywhere we wanted to go. I must say that the wooden decor of this hotel is very Zakopane and is just beautiful.

This hotel was great, right in the middle of Krupowki and very close to the cart train to Gubalowka. We ate at the hotel's restaurant every night as you couldn't beat it for the atmosphere and the quality of food. Very charming place.

Very charming and cozy hotel on the main walking street, with one of the best restaurants in Zakopane on site.

Our room at the Sabala was very nice. A plus to us was the hotel parking was easy to find and we were allowed to keep our car there after we checked out until we left Zakopane later in the day. Also breakfast was included the next morning. We would definately recommend the Sabala.

Hotel Sabala was the perfect place to stay in Zakopane. The hotel was very clean, food was great and the reception extremely friendly. Only the pool was a bit small. The hotel is very well situated, right in the middle of the town. The typical Zakopane style makes the Sabala hotel really cosy. Definitely a place to return to.

We stayed for 3 nights and we liked the hotel and all for our first stay in Zakopane. Aceptable prices, central, well asorted breakfast buffet, friendly and quite well informed staff when we asked for ideas for hiking routes, nice swimming pool, nice room. We did not test out other meals exept from coffe and cake. I am sorry to say that the cakes can be much better. Get the chef some better recipes!

My wife and I stayed this year for my birthday. Unfortunately it was just for one night, when we really should have stayed for many more. The Sabala is a jewel, a must-stay for any tourist. Nestled under the Tatra's it is both warm, exotic and rustic. From the moment you set foot inside the feeling you get is of warmth and friendliness. The rooms are spotless and match if not exceed their counterparts in Ireland. The restaurant and it's staff are most welcoming. On our night we were treated to the best service I can recount in any restaurant. The staff could not have been more helpful. I have some dietary needs and once I explained this to our waiter the evening went without a hitch. The surprise of the stay was the nest morning when me went to breakfast. We sat at the end of the restaurant and, trust me, you will never experience a better setting to start your day off. As i mentioned, we only stayed one night. That mistake will be rectified next year. Take my word, forever in this hotel is too short a time. Zakopane is beautiful in the extreme and the Sabala is the icing on the cake.
