Aceptable prices, central, well asorted breakfast buffet, friendly and quite well informed staff when we asked for ideas for hiking routes, nice swimming pool, nice room. | | "My wife and I stayed this year for my birthday. Unfortunately it was just for one night, when we really should have stayed for many more. The Sabala is a jewel, a must-stay for any tourist. Nestled under the Tatra's it is both warm, exotic and rustic. From the moment you set foot inside the feeling you get is of warmth and friendliness. The rooms are spotless and match if not exceed their counterparts in Ireland. The restaurant and it's staff are most welcoming. On our night we were treated to the best service I can recount in any restaurant. The staff could not have been more helpful. I have some dietary needs and once I explained this to our waiter the evening went without a hitch. The surprise of the stay was the nest morning when me went to breakfast. We sat at the end of the restaurant and, trust me, you will never experience a better setting to start your day off. As i mentioned, we only stayed one night. That mistake will be rectified next year. Take my word, forever in this hotel is too short a time. Zakopane is beautiful in the extreme and the Sabala is the icing on the cake.
