This rather imposing edifice is one of the grandest buildings raised in the Zakopane Style, a style which curiously enough bears a lot in common with England's Gothic Revival. In fact, the building belongs to the army, but you don't need to worry about meeting chaps with machine guns in the corridors. The resort offers trusty, basic accommodation at reasonable rates. There are a whopping 500 places available, in doubles, triples and quadruples, with bathrooms attached. The complex is situated in pleasant, wooded surroundings, with many paths, a playground, sports facilities and a cafe. All in all, one to bear in mind if you're looking for budget options.
