Pod Berlami Guest House

|
Pod Berlami, which means 'Under the Sceptres', takes its name from the insignia of the region's ancient university, the Jagiellonian in Cracow. The pension is owned by that venerable institution, and perhaps you'll meet a moustachioed old professor enjoying a glass of wine in the rather congenial wine bar downstairs. The pension offers thirty-six places, in singles, doubles and apartments. Rooms are simply and comfortably furnished, and each comes with shower, television and satellite television (academics naturally like to be kept abreast of all that's happening in the world!). Pod Berlami can also organize expeditions into the countryside and introductions to folk culture. A good value choice. |

Cost-cuts for tourists
The news should lighten your heart while leaving a little extra ballast in your wallet - Zakopane authorities have the changed the way that ...

We've found Pod Berlami by chance. The staff is nice, and the price was right for the warm and clean room we've got. I would recommend it to everybody who likes to stay so close to the city center undisturbed.
