Hotel Helios sounds faintly Greek but you can rest assured that is a Polish enterprise. The hotel offers plain, unpretentious accommodation in central Zakopane, not far from the nexus of Krupowki street. Helios has thirty-eight rooms at its disposal, including singles, doubles and studios. Best of the bunch are the five apartments which have fine views over the Tatra mountains. All rooms have a bathroom and satellite television, whilst there are ample facilities for businessmen, including three conference rooms. Helios regularly organises expeditions such as sleigh rides, rafting and barbecues in the great outdoors.
