Goodbye Lenin was a runaway success in Cracow with its mischievous take on Comrade L. Opening up in Zakopane was the logical next step, and not simply because the town is Poland's winter capital. Lenin knew Zakopane very well before the First World War. Besides going for wholesome hikes in the mountains, he chatted and played chess with local intellectuals at a trendy cafe on Krupowki. Now he's back - albeit in a rather more comical form. The guys from Goodbye Lenin have commandeered an entire chalet for the benefit of all backpacking adventurers.
