Meredith House

This 100 year old cottage in the Zakopane countryside is certainly a great option for those with a keen sense of romance. Situated on the banks of the river Czarne Dunajec, Meredith House enjoys a quiet location, just twenty minutes from Zakopane centre, and affords some excellent views of the Tatras mountain range - in particular the fine figure of Mount Giewont. Comforts abound from a traditional fireplace and homecooked meals (available upon request) to more modern amenities such as parking and WiFi internet access. Sleeps 2-4 people.

Kilkadziesi¹t metrów od domu p³ynie bystrym nurtem Czarny Dunajec. Dooko³a spokój i cisza. Za spraw¹ gospodyni i jej mê¿a w Meredithówce panuje wspania³a rodzinna i bardzo ciep³a atmosfera a warunki s¹ komfortowe. Polecam wypoczynek u Agnieszki i Roberta zw³aszcza rodzinom z dzieæmi oraz osobom które szukaj¹ odpoczynku na ³onie przyrody.

A truely excellent place! The four of us spent a wonderful week in the adorable (perfectly equipped) little cottage and its absolutely beautiful rural surroundings. Meredithowka is a little paradise with its peace and very tasteful elegance. After the hustle and bustle of Zakopane it is an ideal retreat to relax in or to start your walks and excursions from. We are all very enthusiastic about Agnieszka's cooking. She serves the most delicious, healthy and tasty meals. It was a good way of getting to know the best of Polish cuisine and to appreciate its variety. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They were always ready to answer our questions and since they both speak English fluently, this was a great help to us with any problems as our Polish is almost non-existent. We had a great time and will definitely come again.

Wir waren absolut begeistert und können Meredithówka vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Agnieszka und Robert Meredith sind wunderbare Gastgeber, und dieser Flecken Erde ist herrlich. Wir haben uns in der unglaublichen Stille in frischer Bergluft und bei köstlichem Essen in Dzianisz hervorragend erholt. Besten Dank und allen vier Merediths weiterhin alles Gute!

Absolutely beautiful place! The guest house is clean, comfortable and fully equiped - washing machine, fire place, in the kitchen there is everything you need. And you can wake up in the morning with the wonderful view of Tatras!

Super miejsce! Z dala od zgie³ku Zakopanego ale jednoczeœnie na tyle blisko, ¿e w razie czego mo¿na tam szybko "skoczyæ". Domek dla goœci jest œwietny. Ma wszystko, co potrzeba: eleganck¹ ³azienkê, kuchniê, wielgachn¹ sypialniê, jadalniê. Mo¿na pichciæ samemu, ale gospodarze gotuja rewelacyjnie, wiêc jeœli ktoœ nie ma talentu albo ochoty - nie ma sprawy! Idealne miejsce dla rodzinki z dzieciakami. Du¿y ogród, rzeka,w której sie mo¿na k¹paæ latem. A zim¹, znowu niedaleko do wyciagów narciarskich. Innymi s³owy: POLECAM GOR¥CO O KA¯DEJ PORZE ROKU!!!
