This shelter lies 1100 metres above sea level. It's located in the Koscieliska valley, arguably the most beautiful of all the valleys in the Tatry. During the nineteenth century this stretch was marked as the 'Valley of dreams' or the 'Fairy Tale Valley' on the Austrian Maps, and it remains a favourite until this day. The shelter originally catered to the Society of Tatra skiers, however it was completely rebuilt after the war, following a fire. Today you can kip in two, three, four or eight man rooms. It works out as about 30 zloty per person. A restaurant, bar and club room are on hand.
