Pensjonat Halny reviewed by del from United Kingdom on Nov.03.2009 | "Staff were very helpful with directions and places of interest, but the thing that let them down were the dirty carpets and the shower, we had to buy bleach to clean the shower. Breakfast was ok but could have been a bit more varied"

Ogrody Gorskie reviewed by Maureen Barnett from United Kingdom on Oct.15.2009 | "Booked over internet. It was simple and efficient. Appartment beautifully decorated attractively furnished and spotlessly clean. Location convenient for food shopping or take-aways. Quiet and peaceful even though near a main road. Bit of a walk to/from town centre so used the frequent (and cheap) local bus service. Beautiful area and all the people we met at Ogrody Gorskie and in Zakopane very friendly and helpful in spite of us only having half a dozen words of Polish "
Pensjonat Tuberoza reviewed by Sunita & Ryan from Kuwait on Oct.13.2009 | "We spent 4 nights at the Tuberoza guest house and absolutely loved it. The guest house is very homely and well maintained. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very cozy and had a nice big balcony. Breakfast was good too.
The location of the guest house is great. Within close proximity to Krupowki street and yet tucked away in a quite peaceful area. If we do visit Zakopane again, we would certainly stay at Tuberoza!

Pod Berlami Guest House reviewed by Marta from Hungary on Oct.13.2009 | "We've found Pod Berlami by chance. The staff is nice, and the price was right for the warm and clean room we've got. I would recommend it to everybody who likes to stay so close to the city center undisturbed."

Hotel Sabala reviewed by Hartleb. K from Belgium on Oct.06.2009 | "Hotel Sabala was the perfect place to stay in Zakopane. The hotel was very clean, food was great and the reception extremely friendly. Only the pool was a bit small. The hotel is very well situated, right in the middle of the town. The typical Zakopane style makes the Sabala hotel really cosy. Definitely a place to return to."

Managing staff was extremely helpful in booking trips and suggesting places to eat, etc. The champagne they ordered for us was delicious - the best we've ever tasted! We had a really wonderful time.
Thanks again for their hospitality and for a lovely honeymoon, we really did have a great time.We recommend this place and we will not hesitate to come back again in summer and winter.See you soon.
All the best,

Hotel Sabala reviewed by Hanne Sundbø from Norway on Aug.04.2009 | "We stayed for 3 nights and we liked the hotel and all for our first stay in Zakopane. Aceptable prices, central, well asorted breakfast buffet, friendly and quite well informed staff when we asked for ideas for hiking routes, nice swimming pool, nice room. We did not test out other meals exept from coffe and cake. I am sorry to say that the cakes can be much better. Get the chef some better recipes!"

Hotel Sabala reviewed by Paul Slevin from Ireland on Jul.23.2009 | "My wife and I stayed this year for my birthday. Unfortunately it was just for one night, when we really should have stayed for many more. The Sabala is a jewel, a must-stay for any tourist. Nestled under the Tatra's it is both warm, exotic and rustic. From the moment you set foot inside the feeling you get is of warmth and friendliness. The rooms are spotless and match if not exceed their counterparts in Ireland. The restaurant and it's staff are most welcoming. On our night we were treated to the best service I can recount in any restaurant. The staff could not have been more helpful. I have some dietary needs and once I explained this to our waiter the evening went without a hitch. The surprise of the stay was the nest morning when me went to breakfast. We sat at the end of the restaurant and, trust me, you will never experience a better setting to start your day off. As i mentioned, we only stayed one night. That mistake will be rectified next year. Take my word, forever in this hotel is too short a time. Zakopane is beautiful in the extreme and the Sabala is the icing on the cake.
Paul and Trish" | | |
