The Poles have always been fond of tea. In years gone by some families went to great lengths to smuggle in fine brands from abroad. This was to avoid the grubby, government sanctioned stuff that was the norm. Nowadays, tea is enjoying something of a glorious Renaissance, as can witnessed at this fine shop. A veritable panoply of teas line the walls, with all kinds of exotic brews such as Irish Dream, as well as a host of Oriental concoctions. Pretty expensive! Good stuff though - if you are desperate for a cup of Lapsang or Earl Grey, this is the place for you!
