Zakopane Bus Station

|
The main drop-off point for buses in Zakopane is Kosciuszki Street. Besides the national PKS bus services, all the private lines (Szwagropol, Frej etc.) also wind up their routes here. It's really just a bus stop on the side of the road, but you're fairly close to the main street of Krupowki (ten minutes walk). Single fares are about 16 zloty to or from Krakow, and the journey takes about 2 and a half hours. That said, bear in mind that in peak season the roads can get seriously blocked, with major tailbacks adding on a fair few minutes to the tally. |
