37th International Festival of Highlanders’ Folklore
The 37th International festival of Highlanders’ Folklore is underway in the mountain resort of Zakopane in the Polish Tatras.
It is the largest event of this kind in Poland and it gathers a huge crowd of performers and spectators.
This year twenty highlanders’ ensembles from Europe will compete for the gold, silver and bronze axes. The festival is accompanied by many sideline events such as the championships in carriage driving.
