Poles, just like the nationals of other new EU member states, are more open towards further enlargement of the bloc than the citizens of old member states.

A recent Eurobarometer survey showed that 76 per cent of Poles would like to welcome new countries in the EU. Only Slovenians seem more eager to do so. The same poll indicates that 6 in 10 Poles think that Poland benefited from entering the European Union, while as many declare support for the EU’s common constitution.
