Highland Robbers On The Run
Police have blocked roads in southern Poland after a audacious bank robbery in the southern city of Nowy Targ. The search is underway for three men who have stolen 400,000 zlotys, or about 100,000 dollars, according to unconfirmed reports.
The robbers terrorised the bank's personnel and gained access to the bank safe, in which they later locked up the hapless staff. The thieves fled the scene in a car, which they later exchanged, probably for a black BMW. Police stress that the men are both armed and dangerous.
