Special Highland Highway Launched
For those keen to explore the region, a good bit of news is that the "Szlak GORAL*SKI" - a new route linking Poland and Slovakia - has opened to great fanfare.
The route connects over two hundred attractions, including modern skiing slopes, sport halls, aquaparks and buildings of heritage interest. The project was one of the biggest road-planning investments in recent years.
That said, GORAL*SKI is not the only notable development in the region of late. Keen footballers will no doubt delight in the country's highest soccer pitch. That's right, as of October 24th, it's now possible to have a high altitude kick-around.
