Ski Jumping Cup Comes To Zakopane

The world's best ski jumpers are about to arrive in Zakopane for a weekend of air surfing action.

The Zakopane leg of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup kicks off on Friday, 22nd January. Swiss ace Simon Amman is currently leading the pack, followed by Austrian Gregor Schilierenzauer.

Poland's very own ski jumping genius, Adam Malysz, may not be having his best season (he's currently in 9th position), but that won't stop the carnival atmosphere that visitors have come to expect in Zakopane.

And perhaps Mr Malysz, also known as "The Flying Moustache", may just pull off a little magic in front of the home crowd....
