United Europe Jazz Festival

Six days to savour for music lovers, as the fourth United Europe Jazz Festival arrives in town. Maestros from every corner of the globe, including Poland of course, will treat audiences to a mix of traditional jazz, blues, swing, gospel and fusion. The primary venue for the festival is the Dolna Rówień Krupowa, but concerts and parties will be also held in the town’s restaurants, pubs, churches, Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz Theatre.

7th Tatra Automobile Rally

Look out for this classic car rally on the streets of Zakopane during the United Europe Jazz Festival. Vintage machines will be polished to a fine sheen before cruising around the town’s highways to the delight of automobile enthusiasts. (This event accompanies the United Europe Jazz festival).

5th Cosmic Festival of Nu Jazz and Funk

The mighty Ampstrong - clubbing stalwarts of Zakopane - are throwing on the fifth edition of their Cosmic Festival, sure to rock the mountains! The nightlife action kicks off on the 27th April with parties every night of the extended May holiday until the 5th. DJs from all over Poland and beyond will be throwing their collective sounds into the mix, with the most keenly anticipated act - Scratch Perverts and Mc. Dynamite - playing on the 2nd May. If you like shaking your bootie on the dancefloor this is one not to miss.

Musical Theatre Evening

The Museum K. Szymanowski in Zakopane invites you for a fascinating evening, offering a unique mixture of music and theatre. The piano player Andrzej Stefański and actors of the Teatr Witkacy will entertain you with music pieces by Szymanowski and Schumann, as well as letters of Szymanowski and Witkacy and much more from the work of these 2 exceptional Polish writers. The show will start at 19:00, so don't be late!

Chamber Concert

On 26th May the Muzeum K. Szymanowski in Zakopane opens its doors to host a wonderful chamber music concert. The concert takes place on the special occassion of the Mother's and Children's Day. You will see Kaja Danczowska (violine) and Justyna Danczowska (piano) on stage and listen to their charming interpretations of music pieces by Cesar Franck, Szymanowski, Mity, Roksana and many more. Be there at 19:00!

5th Zakopane Days

The 5th Zakopane Days are also the 10th anniversary of the Zakopane visit of Pope Jan Pawel II. An absolute highlight of the Zakopane spring season! There's going to be a lot of good music in Zakopane during this festival. Do you want to take a rest from hiking up and down the mountains?
