Jazz Camping of Kalatowki The eleventh edition of this popular jazz festival will be upon us in October 2007, when renowned artists from Poland will dust off their saxes and trombones and get ready for another week of hardcore jamming. Names such as Janusz Muniak, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Krzysztof Herdzin, Andrzej Dąbrowski, Jerzy Małek and Jerzy Bartz are old favourites; but the Jazz Camping Festival is always keen to showcase the up-and-coming stars of tomorrow and so expect plenty of youngsters helping to keep the spirit of jazz alive in the mountains! Of course this being the Highlands, the jazz on offer won't be restricted to the New Orleans variety - innovative and interesting medleys incorporating traditional 'Goralski' music are sure to give music afficiondos something they're never heard before. As usual the stylish cafe in the Kalatowki Mountain Hotel is the venue for the action. when - 1st to 7th October
