24/2/2011 - 31/12/2013The life of one of the most popular authors of children’s books in Polish is celebrated at the permanent exhibition of the Kornel Makuszyński Museum.
Makuszyński made frequent trips to Zakopane, summer and winter, between the wars. While here he stayed at the Opolanka house, which is now home to the exhibition.
As well as manuscripts, press cuttings and photographs, the exhibition includes Polish art and antiques, and treasures from the Middle and Far East.
