Madame C Restaurant

Madame C is a smart, new restaurant that boasts a modern interior, a wide-ranging international menu and not least, a warm, friendly atmosphere. If you're fond of good food and wine then this one is well worth investigating. It's also child-friendly, so you don't need to worry about a stiff, overly formal vibe. The restaurant is open every day between 10am and 10pm, serving Brunch from 10am to 2pm. There's free wireless internet for cyberspace addicts, but if you want a break from your computer screen, what could be better than the lovely view over Mount Giewont from the terrace.

"We stopped in zakopane 19/08/10 till 27/08/10. This restaurant was recomended to us by our taxi driver from Krakow. We used it almost every night of our stay, it is quite simply superb. The menu is very european and is a nice change from the local Polish cuisine. The owner and staff are wonderful, friendly people and very welcoming. Entertainment is provided some nights and we found it very good. We recommend the daily specials they serve, we loved them. We hope to return to Zakopne and will definitely be heading back to "Madame Cs" again. we can highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks to the owner & staff for making such a great addition to our holiday. "

"Magic Island on the Shitty Ocean of the Mountain FastFood restaurants in Zakopane. Lady from Denmark who owns this restaurant knows how to cook and how to serve the clients. Despite there is no vegetarian food in the menu she prepared for us delicious grilled vegetables with pasta. ummmmmm... Not cheap... but it is worth it."

"Great restaurant, better than all the other restaurants in zakopane. Modern, clean and yet cosy restaurant. Loved my pasta!!! En voor de Nederlanders onder ons, je moet hier echt eten! je krijgt waar voor je geld en het na een week op die houten bankjes is dit een verademing.."

"After visiting all those restaurants offering Polish folk cuisine it is a great change!. Lovely atmosphere of a small place where you can speak with a Danish owner, read books, let children play, and have a nice, inspiring meal."

"1st impression very good - stuff friendly. For vegetarian I could find delicious pasta and if you don't like menu cook can make something else that you like. I'm a cook and I recommend this place.Zakopane without Masame C wouldn't be Zakopane :). Regards from Kolobrzeg "
