What is the riddle of the Sphinx's success? It certainly has been a runaway hit, with branches popping up across Poland, and they seem to be popular with both Poles and foreigners alike. Perhaps there's no surprise that tasty as Polish food is, variety is the spice of life. And that means chomping a plate of chips and kebab once in a while. Zakopane's Sphinx carries their hallmark exotic interior, a sort of updated Indiana Jones vibe where you half expect a monkey to come leaping over your shoulder. Diners can tuck into a range of steaks, cutlets and kebabs, generally served with a large portion of chips. Wash it all down with some Okocim Polish beer. |
