When you've come in from the snow, after another hard day on the slopes, what better place could you chose to eat than a traditional Goral restaurant, complete with roaring hearth? Coax those icy digits back to life, whilst you wait for your traditional Highland supper to be delivered by those men in the funny hats. It won't be long before you're tucking in to a dish so large that it could sustain an entire African country for a week, and discussing the runs, falls, jumps, crashes and near misses of your skiing exploits. Of course after a couple of beers that green run will have turned into a sheer precipice and that light cloud an impenetrable mist - but that's half the fun! |
