It is actually illegal in Poland to go to the Tatras and not taste traditional mountain food. And with this homely highland eaterie slap bang on Krupowki street you will have absolutely no excuses should you be apprehended by the long arm of the law. Stay out of trouble then by dropping by for a meat and veg. feast that will satisfy both the palate and the stomach. Chicken fillets with apples and cranberry is just one speciality, and needless to say that all meals are best washed down with a Wyborowa vodka! There's outdoor seating, plus folk bands from 18:00 and don't forget to check out their special New Year's Eve menu on the website.

Our meal was definitely satisfying to the taste and the stomach. Finished with some hot mead, I think that we fulfilled our obligatory highlander meal. Our only mistake was to have dinner before the music started (though seating was much easier to get). Service was good, though not fast.
