The wizard who designed this bar certainly deserves to be knighted by the forest gods of Zakopane - this is really a work of art - and surely a contender for the coolest bar in Poland. You'll find it tucked away in a little alley just off the main street, Krupowki, and once inside you'll find a a spree of surprises. There's no tedious minamalism here, rather, it has an eccentric style all of its own. An unlikely cross between a sleek metropolitan bar and a chunky highland wooden shack - dovetailed with all kinds of exotic flourishes - Cafe Piano wins first prize. Wooden swings at the bar (decked out with fetching green velvet cushions), glass-topped tables with forest ferns sprouting up beneath them, windows that resemble blocks of amber, it just gets better and better. An absolute joy!
