This delightful little pub takes its name from the title of Tadeusz Micinski's classic novel 'Nietota. The Secret Book of the Tatra Mountains'. And if the aforementioned author and journalist was a champion of Highland life then this bar is proud to take on his mantle; upon their walls you will find dozens of smartly-framed photos of mountain huts, peaks and streams. Along with these vivid pictures, white-washed walls and polished pinewood furniture create a light and airy atmosphere, which seems particularly refined in contrast with many of Zakopane's dark and dingy drinking dens. Helpful staff are the proverbial cherry on the cake.
