If you've got the faintest of soft spots for the fantastical then don't miss this gallery at any cost. This is zany Polish fantasy at its best. Not all of Wladyslaw Hasior's art hits the bullseye, but he gives most contemporary artists a good run for their money. Hasior lived in Zakopane for many years, and he arranged this permament exhibition himself. It's located in an old sanatorium, and eerie retro music emanates from the speakers as you wander about. Hasior constructed his far out treasures from pretty much anything he could lay his hands on, and the results are often both enchanting and grotesque, with a good dollop of humour thrown in.
